Red Hot Chili Peppers - I'm With You

 O Red Hot Chili Peppers é uma banda que considero muito ampla, musicalmente falando. Uma carreira já longa, com dez álbuns, várias mudanças de guitarrista e algumas de baterista e uma vida bem agitada dos integrantes podem ser alguns dos motivos dessa "amplitude", porém, os maiores são indiscutívelmente o talento e a criatividade dos membros da banda.
Pode parecer estranho uma mesma banda ter composto Blackeyed Blonde e Snow, I Could Have Lied e Sir Psycho Sexy, e por aí vai.

Como já dito, a banda passou por várias mudanças de guitarrista e a mais recente foi em 2009, quando John Frusciante, que gravara cinco álbuns com a banda, decidiu deixar os Peppers.
O substituto é Josh Klinghoffer, que já trabalhou com John em diversos projetos e inclusive já acompanhara o RHCP em alguns shows.
Por ser amigo e tocar com John, o estilo deles são parecidos, mas qualquer pessoa pode perceber que os Peppers mudaram de novo. O própiro baterista, Chad Smith afirma que é uma banda nova. O mesmo nome, mas é uma banda nova.

Josh é um bom substituto, seus backing vocals não perdem para os de John, mas uma coisa que pode ser vista em I'm With You é que a guitarra soa "tímida" em relação aos álbuns com o Frusciante. A causa disso, mas também o que não deixa isso ser um defeito é a qualidade das linhas de baixo. Não é segredo que os Peppers tem um dos melhores baixistas do Rock: Michael Balzary, ou simplesmente Flea.
Faixas como Monarchy of Roses, que abre o álbum, Factory of Faith e The Adventures Of Rain Dance Maggie, o primeiro single de I'm With You, mostram bem a genialidade desse baixista.

Resumindo, John deixou um buraco ao sair dos Chili Peppers. Em I'm With You, Josh cobre esse buraco, mas deixa um pequeno espaço aberto, e este é coberto pelo talento de Flea. Além de tudo, o vocalista Anthony Kiedis continua cantando maravilhosamente bem e Chad Smith também continua ótimo na bateria.
Com tantos bons músicos, é de se esperar que o álbum seja bom, assim como todos os outros do Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are a band that I consider very wide, musically speaking. An already long career, with ten albuns, many changes of guitarrist and drummers and the agitated life of the integrants may be some causes of this "wideness", however, the greatests reasons of it are undoubtedly the creativity and the talent of them.
Some times, it can even look a little strange the same band has songs as Blackeyed Blonde and Snow, I Could Have Lied and Sir Psycho Sexy, and so on.

As stated, the band has passed by some guitarist changes and the most recent was in 2009, when John Frusciante, that recorded five albuns with the band, decided to leave the Chili Peppers.
The substitute is Josh Klinghoffer, thar worked with John in many projects and has also played with Red Hot in some concerts.
As he is a friend of John, their styles are similar, but anyone can notice that the Peppers had changed again The drummer Chad Smith himself says that they are a new band. The same name, but it's a new band.

Josh is a good substitute, his backing vocals don't lose to John's, but one thing that can be see in I'm With You is that the guitar sounds "shy" compared with the Frusciante's albuns. The cause of this, but what also doesn't allow this be a defect is the quality of the bass lines. It's no a secret that the Peppers has one of the best bassist of Rock: Michael Balzary, also known as Flea.
Tracks as Monarchy of Roses, that opens the album, Factory of Faith and The Adventures Of Rain Dance Maggie, the first single of I'm With You, shows the great genious of Flea.

Summarazing, John left a hole when he left the Chili Peppers. In I'm With You, Josh covers this hole,but a small space is still open, and it covered by Flea's talent. Besides everything, the vocalist Anthony Kiedis continues singing greatly and Chad Smith also continues great in the drums.
With many awesome musicians, is expected that this album is great, as every one of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
