Ah, os Beatles. Para muitos, a melhor banda de rock que já existiu. Quem não concorda, deve pelo menos concordar com o tamanho da influência que os quatro garotos de Liverpool tiveram e tem sobre a música. Não há nada mais justo que alguns posts à essa banda que marcou gerações.
Quando os Beatles surgiram, o Rock ’n’ roll já existia, é claro. Nos anos 50, nos EUA já havia nomes como Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis ou ainda Buddy Holly e, é claro, Elvis Presley já eram famosos e suas músicas conhecidas pelo mundo, inclusive na Inglaterra.
Devido a essa influência, bandas de Jazz, Blues e do chamado Skiffle começaram a tocar o tal Rock ‘n’ Roll. Uma dessas foi o Quarrymen, que viriam a se tornar os Beatles.
Foi com o single Love Me Do que os Beatles iniciaram a sua carreira de sucesso, e as músicas desse single, junto com as do single Please Please Me e mais outras dez, gravadas em apenas três sessões, o primeiro disco da banda foi lançado.
Abrindo com a dançante I Saw Her Standing There, cantada por Paul, passando por Boys, cantada por Ringo, a ótima Do You Want To Know A Secret, cantada por George e terminando tão dançante quanto começou, com um cover que ficou mais famoso que a sua versão original, Please Please Me termina com Twist And Shout, cantada por John.
Os quatro membros já mostram seu talento, tanto em composições, quanto nos vocais e nos instrumentos, que viria a crescer cada vez mais ao passar dos discos. Please Please Me é o um marco na história da música e um álbum que qualquer fã de rock deve ouvir.

Ah, The Beatles. For many people, the best rock band ever. Those who doesn't agree must at least regonise the great influnce that these four boys from Liverpool had and still have on music. Therefore, it is very fair to post some reviews of this band.
When Beatles were formed, the Rock ’n’ roll already existed, of course. In the 50's, in the USA there was names as Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis or Buddy Holly and, of course, Elvis Presley that were already famous and their music well-known all over the world, including in the United Kingdom.
Due to that influence, bands that used to play Jazz, Blues and the Skiffle started to play that Rock ‘n’ Roll. One of that were the Quarrymen, that would later become The Beatles.
It was with the single Love Me Do that the Beatles started their thriving carrier, and the music of this single, as well as the ones of Please Please Me and another ten more recorded in only three sessions, the first full-lenght disc of the band was released.
Opening with the very danceable I Saw Her Standing There, sung by Paul, passaing by Boys, by Ringo, the great Do You Want To Know A Secret, by George, and, finishing as danceable as it started, the cover that got more famous than its oringinal, Please Please Me ends with Twist And Shout, sung by John.
The four members already show their talent, in composing, singing and playing. A talent that would grow more and more with the time.
Please Please Me is a mark of the music and an album that any rock 'n' roll fan should listen to.
